The Story
1855 – Comptoirs de France
In 1855 the Devos’s family watermill first produced the unique flour that helped bring quality baked bread to the people of Fontainebleau. Word slowly spread and the family developed new recipes to please their enthusiastic neighbours. Overtime the Devos family became synonymous with quality baked goods. As each generation grew up they were left with their parents words to guide them: “Continue to explore and never forget your roots”.
Benjamin and Comptoirs de France team keeps up with his family tradition by continuing to push the boundaries of the family’s recipes while maintaining the tradition that has brought them here.
